crazy weather in wa

We had some surprising weather on Tuesday.

It snowed in the morning and by afternoon the sun was shining bright. Yup we played in the snow and gardened on the same day! By themselves, each weather event is rare in Washington in March. But two on a single day? Wacky.

Zara and I bundled up to lay in the snow in the morning. By late afternoon, it was warm enough to do a little gardening. My lovely crocus was blooming.

Today it is back to normal. Gray and cloudy in Western WA.
